Welcome to the community, Alex! It's awesome to have a sound expert here—audio is half the experience in video, and so many creators overlook it. Since you're coming from sound, you'll have a huge advantage in making your videos feel professional. For editing, I'd suggest starting with DaVinci Resolve (free version is powerful) because it has excellent audio tools built-in, plus you can do color grading in the same software. For camera, your phone's 4K is fine to start, but invest in good lighting—softbox or LED panels. Also, keep your videos concise; retention is key. Thanks for the warm welcome! That's a great tip about DaVinci Resolve—I've heard it's a game-changer. I'll definitely check it out. I'm also curious about how to sync my external audio recordings with video clips in Resolve. Do you have any advice on that?
