But if you're staying in Premiere, make sure you're using Lumetri Color properly. Start by nailing your white balance and exposure before touching any creative LUTs. Also, use scopes (waveform and vectorscope) religiously – they'll save you from muddy blacks or oversaturated skin tones.

For YouTube algorithm: the key is audience retention. In 2026, it's all about the first 30 seconds – hook viewers fast. Also, watch your analytics for when viewers drop off, and edit accordingly. I'm planning to make editing tutorials and maybe some vlogs about the freelance life. I know it's a saturated niche, but I think my motion graphics background can set me apart.
