Hey everyone, I'm a small gaming channel with around 80k subs and I've been monetized for about two years. My RPM has always been stable, but this week my AdSense earnings took a massive nosedive – I'm talking a 70% drop from my usual daily average. I haven't changed my content style, upload schedule, or audience targeting. I'm seeing the same views and watch time in YouTube Studio, but the estimated revenue is way down.
I've already checked my AdSense account for any policy violations or payment holds, and everything looks clean. I'm wondering if this is a seasonal trend (I know Q1 can be slow), or if YouTube changed something with how they calculate ad impressions or payouts. Has anyone else experienced a sudden drop like this? What did you do to figure out the cause? Any advice would be appreciated before I start panicking and changing my whole strategy.
