Hey everyone! I'm a small creator with about 25k subscribers on YouTube, mostly doing tech reviews and tutorials. I just got my first brand deal offer from a VPN company. They're offering $500 for a 2-minute integration in one video, plus a 30% affiliate commission on sales. Is this a fair rate? I honestly have no idea what to expect, and I don't want to undersell myself or scare them off by asking for too much.
I've seen some creators mention using a CPM (cost per mille) model for sponsorships, but I'm not sure what a realistic CPM is for my niche and size. Also, should I negotiate for a longer-term contract or stick with a one-off? Any advice on how to approach this professionally would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
