Hey everyone! I've been running a tech review channel for about a year now, and I finally got accepted into a few affiliate programs (Amazon Associates and a couple of direct brands). I want to start adding affiliate links to my video descriptions, but I'm worried about cluttering them and hurting my click-through rate (CTR) on the video itself. My current description is pretty clean with just a few lines and timestamps, but I know I need to add links to make money.
What's the best practice for placing affiliate links in descriptions? Should I put them right at the top, or after the video details? Also, do you guys use any tools to generate short, trackable links, or do you just paste the raw Amazon links? I've seen some creators use a 'Buy Here' button or a link tree, but I'm not sure what converts best. Any advice would be super helpful!
