Best budget-friendly wireless lav mic for run-and-gun interviews?
Hey everyone! I'm a solo creator who does a lot of run-and-gun interviews at events and on the street. I currently use a Rode VideoMic Pro+ on my camera, but the audio quality suffers when I'm not close to the subject. I'm looking to step up to a wireless lav system but I'm on a tight budget (under $200). I've seen tons of ads for the DJI Mic 2 and the Rode Wireless Go II, but I'm not sure which one is better for my use case. I need something that's reliable, easy to set up quickly, and has good range. I also want to be able to record a backup track directly on the transmitter, just in case. I'm using a Sony ZV-E10 with a 3.5mm input, so I don't need XLR or anything fancy. Any recommendations or experiences would be super helpful!

But I'm getting into more dynamic shots—walking interviews, following subjects through narrow alleys, and some low-angle stuff. My current setup is a bit shaky for those fast-paced moves, and I'm looking for a gimbal that's light enough to carry all day but can handle the A7S III with a 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II attached. I've been eyeing the DJI RS 4 Pro, but I've heard mixed things about the new DJI RS 4 Mini—some say it's underpowered for full-frame with heavier lenses. Also, I'm a bit worried about battery life on longer shoots (I sometimes go 10+ hours without a charger). Anyone here using a gimbal with the A7S III for run-and-gun? What's your go-to? I'm open to Zhiyun or Moza too, but I want something that's reliable and doesn't require constant rebalancing.
AdSense RPM dropped by 60% after algorithm update – anyone else seeing this?
Hey everyone, I run a mid-sized tech review channel (around 80k subs, mostly US audience) and my RPM has tanked from $8.50 to around $3.20 over the past two weeks. I know the YouTube algorithm update in late January hit a lot of niches, but this seems extreme. My views are actually stable (around 150k/month), but earnings are in the toilet. I've checked my CPM in AdSense for AdSense for Content (not AdSense for YouTube) and it's also down, but I'm primarily monetized through YouTube's partner program. I'm in the US, so it's not a geo issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to recover RPM without changing content drastically? I've already tried enabling more ad formats (mid-rolls every 2 minutes, overlay ads, sponsored cards) but it barely moved the needle. Could it be a glitch in reporting? My analytics in YouTube Studio show the same drop. Any advice would be appreciated.
