CTR dropped from 8% to 3% after rebrand — is my new thumbnail style the problem?
Hey everyone, I run a tech review channel and recently rebranded my entire visual identity. I switched from bright, cluttered thumbnails with big red arrows and text to a cleaner, minimal style with softer colors and no text. I thought it would look more professional, but my CTR has tanked from a steady 8% to just 3% over the past two weeks. My impressions are actually up, but nobody is clicking. I'm wondering if the minimal look is just too bland for YouTube, or if it's something else like the timing of my uploads. I've attached a few examples of my old vs. new thumbnails. Has anyone else experienced this after a rebrand? Should I revert to the old style or try to find a middle ground? Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm using After Effects 2025's built-in 3D Camera Tracker, and it works great for the first 10 seconds—solid track points, no drift. But after that, the tracked nulls start slowly sliding off the real-world surfaces, especially on the edges of the frame. I've tried manually deleting weak track points and re-analyzing, but the drift persists. The footage has some motion blur and a bit of rolling shutter from a whip pan. Is there a setting or workflow I'm missing? Or should I jump to Mocha AE or a dedicated 3D solver like PFTrack? I'd rather not spend money if the built-in tracker can handle this with proper prep. Any tips on pre-processing the footage (like removing grain or stabilizing in a specific way) would be appreciated.
