Hey everyone, I've been freelancing for about 2 years now, mostly doing YouTube videos for small creators and a few corporate clients. I love the creative freedom, but I'm hitting a wall with revisions. My last project went through 11 rounds of revisions (I'm not exaggerating), and I ended up making less than minimum wage when I calculated my hours. I know I need to set boundaries, but I'm scared of scaring off clients with strict terms. What's your standard revision policy? Do you include a set number of revisions in your quote, or do you charge per revision? Also, how do you communicate this without sounding like a jerk? I finally decided to create an account and introduce myself. I'm a hobbyist filmmaker from the Pacific Northwest, and I mostly shoot nature and travel content. My current setup is a Sony A7 IV with a 24-105mm f/4 lens, and I edit in DaVinci Resolve.
