I'm running an i9-12900K, 64GB of RAM, and an RTX 3080 Ti. The footage is from a Sony A7S III in XAVC S 4K (10-bit 4:2:2). I've set my playback resolution to 1/4, but it still drops frames and scrubbing is a nightmare. I've already tried clearing my media cache and setting my preview file format to ProRes 422, but nothing seems to help. I'm starting to think it might be something with how Premiere handles 10-bit 4:2:2 footage, or maybe my sequence settings are wrong. My sequence is set to 3840x2160 at 23.976fps. I capture via a Magewell Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus into OBS Studio 30.2 on the Mac. Everything looks perfect for the first 20-30 minutes, but after that, my microphone audio (Shure SM7B into a GoXLR Mini) starts drifting out of sync with the video by about 200–400ms. The game audio stays fine, but my commentary lags behind. I’ve tried adjusting the audio offset in OBS, but it’s inconsistent—sometimes it fixes it for a bit, then drifts again. I’m using 48kHz sample rate on all devices, and my GoXLR is set to 48kHz as well. No buffer issues in OBS (buffering is off for all sources).
