OBS stuttering when streaming 1080p60 with RTX 3060 – what am I missing?
Hey everyone, I've been streaming for about three months now on Twitch, mostly playing Valorant and some indie games. My setup is an RTX 3060 12GB, Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB RAM, and a 1Gbps down/50Mbps up connection. I'm trying to stream at 1080p60 using NVENC (new) in OBS Studio 30.2, but I keep getting frame drops and stuttering in the stream, even though my game runs fine at 240+ FPS. My OBS stats show skipped frames due to encoding lag, not network drops. I've already tried setting the encoder to CBR with a 6000 bitrate, 2-second keyframe interval, and max B-frames to 2, but it still stutters. What am I missing? Is my GPU not enough for NVENC at this quality? Any help would be awesome!
