Thumbnail CTR Dropped to 2% After YouTube Algorithm Update – What's Working Now?
Hey everyone, I run a tech review channel with about 80k subs, and my average CTR used to sit around 6-7%. Over the last month, it's dropped to just 2.1% on new uploads, and impressions have actually gone up, so it's not a visibility issue. I've tried bolder text, brighter colors, and more expressive faces, but nothing seems to stick. Did the algorithm change how it selects thumbnails for the home page or browse features?
