Hey everyone! I've been editing for a few years now, but I'm finally starting to take my YouTube channel seriously. I've got a solid niche (tech reviews), but I keep hitting a wall when it comes to music. I've been using the YouTube Audio Library for a while, but everything there sounds so... samey. I want to give my videos a more distinctive, premium feel, but I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to license tracks from big-name composers.
I've looked into sites like Epidemic Sound and Artlist, but I'm not sure if the monthly subscription is worth it for my current scale. Are there any hidden gems or lesser-known resources that offer high-quality, unique music for a one-time fee or even free? I'm also curious about how to properly credit artists when required, and if there are any pitfalls with Content ID claims that I should avoid. Any advice would be massively appreciated!
